Change Your Rituals, Change Your LIFE!

There's a quote I love so much, and it’s something we are always trying to teach our kids...

"Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally. It comes from what you do consistently!"

I talk a lot about the “rituals” we have that create our reality. Those little things we do every day that determine where we’re going.

Because it really is those things, those habits, that either move us in a positive direction or a negative one. 🤔

So if you look at where you’re going to end up in 10 years if you keep doing what you’re doing, and you don’t like what you see...it’s time to change your everyday rituals!

I had to change my weekend rituals 9 years ago, when everyone around me was eating pizza and wings and drinking beer.

I knew that wasn’t going to help me feel comfortable in my skin or help me pass down a healthy relationship with food down to my daughter, Riley.

Those rituals had to change...and I was willing to change them FOR HER.

I didn't change everything, all at once. It started with small adjustments. Changing my environment, changing my habits, changing my mindset.

I still evaluate my rituals frequently. NOT to beat myself up over it, but just so I am AWARE...to see what my rituals are producing.

I ask myself where I will be in 10 years if I keep doing what I’m doing. And if I don’t like what I see, I make some adjustments.

We all know it's easier to make those small adjustments NOW, than to end up in that place 10 years from now and WISH you had done something before. 🤦🏼‍♀️

What are some rituals you have in your life that may need to change in order to get where you want to go?

✔️Is it emotional eating?
✔️Is it sending mean texts to your husband when you’re upset? (That used to be me too😬)
✔️Is it feeling like a victim to your circumstances?
✔️Is it hitting the snooze button over and over, until your kids come and drag you out of bed?

Those are all RITUALS! And they may not be getting you where you want to go...🤔

But only you can determine that!
